Q: What makes Moonix jewelry different from cheaper stainless steel pieces?
A: Our pieces are crafted from 316L surgical-grade or Refine 304L stainless steel — 316L stainless steel is the same grade used in medical implants — finished with 18K Gold PVD plating. Unlike traditional gold plating, PVD is bonded at a molecular level, making it far more resistant to fading, scratching, and tarnishing over daily wear. That's why we're able to back every piece with a lifetime warranty.
Q: Will it turn my skin green or cause an allergic reaction?
A: No. 316L stainless steel is nickel-safe and hypoallergenic, making it a great option even for sensitive skin. It won't oxidize, rust, or react with sweat, lotion, or perfume. 304L stainless steel is also durable and good for daily use.
Q: Is it real gold or silver?
A: Our pieces use 18K Gold PVD plating and rhodium (silver-tone) finishes over 316L stainless steel — not solid gold or silver. This gives you a long-lasting, tarnish-free shine at a fraction of the cost of fine jewelry.
Sizing & Fit
Q: How do I find my ring size?
A: Wrap a strip of paper or string around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in millimeters and compare it to our size chart. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
Q: Can I exchange for a different size?
A: Yes — we offer a free first size exchange on rings. If your size isn't quite right, contact us at sales@moonix.uk within 7 days when you received the delivery and we'll take care of it.
Q: Are your bracelets and necklaces adjustable?
A: Yes, many of our pieces feature adjustable clasps or extension chains; specify which styles are fixed-length.
Q: What does the lifetime warranty cover?
A: Our lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects such as plating discoloration, clasp failure, or structural issues under normal wear. It does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, or loss. If something's wrong with your piece, reach out and we'll repair or replace it free of charge.
Q: How do I care for my jewelry?
A: Our jewelry is waterproof and built for daily wear — shower, swim, and sweat in it worry-free. For extra shine, an occasional wipe with a soft cloth is all it needs. No special storage or maintenance required.
Q: Can I wear it every day, including in the shower or gym?
A: Yes. Every piece is 100% waterproof and sweat-resistant, so there's no need to take it off for daily activities.
Shipping & Delivery
Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Orders are processed within 3 business days. Delivery typically takes 7-14 business days for international orders. You'll receive a tracking link as soon as your order ships.
Q: What if my order doesn't arrive or arrives damaged?
A: If your package goes missing, email us at sales@moonix.uk within 30 days of your shipping confirmation and we'll investigate with the carrier and offer a refund or replacement. If your item arrives damaged or defective, send us photos within 7 days of delivery and we'll arrange a replacement or refund based on availability.
Q: Do I need to pay customs or import duties?
A: For most international orders, duties and taxes are already included in your shipping cost — no surprise charges on delivery. A small number of countries may apply separate customs fees; we recommend checking with your local customs authority if you're unsure. Please note that customs inspections can occasionally delay delivery, which is outside our control.

Q: Is my payment information secure?
A: Yes. All transactions are processed through Shopify's secure checkout with SSL encryption, and we accept major payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay.
Q: Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
A: We start processing orders quickly to get them to you faster, so please contact us at sales@moonix.uk within 3 hours of placing your order if you need to make changes. Once an order has shipped, we're unable to modify or cancel it.
Q: Do you offer gift packaging?
A: Yes — every order ships in a signature Moonix box, ideal for gifting. Gift packaging is ready for you will no extra charges.
